DescriptionSaunders gives £2500 to the Rumseys. The Rumseys covenant to pay back the amount plus interest on 29th September 1899, lands held as security.
At the base of Indenture: Signed, sealed and delivered by S. Gurney Rumsey and Lilian Beatrice Rumsey.
On the back page: Another Indenture (dated 21st January 1904). States the money has been paid back from End to Chirgwin, and his lands have been re-conveyed. Signed, sealed and delivered by ‘E. Chirgwin’, and witnessed by ‘Frank Martin’, her solicitor.
