DescriptionInvolving Frederick End (of No.28 and 30 Wellington Street, London) (Fruit Salesman) and Thomas Smith (of Bycullah House, Enfield, Middlesex) (Gentleman). Smith lends End £4000, with Rose Farm and land as security.
On the back: A second Indenture dated 21st January 1904 involving Frederick End and Thomas Smith. Supplement to Indenture within and to a Memorandum of Agreement (13th October 1902). Money now paid, lands conveyed back to End.
NotesOn “back page” is a handwritten note titled ‘Smith v End and another’. It is marked ‘1903: S: No.4364’, and addressed ‘In the High Court of Justice, Chancery Division, [?] Justice Kekewich’. The note reads ‘This is the Indenture of Mortgage marked T.S.I. referred to in the affidant [sic] of Thomas Smith sworn before me this 11th day of December 1903’ and is signed ‘H.E.[?]iffith’, ‘A Commissioner etc’.
