DescriptionInvolving Francis Thomas Wellard (of 69 Linden Road, Gillingham, Kent) (Retired Leading man of B+I65oilermakers) and Frederick Stephen Rowden (of “Dalkeith”, London Road, Rainham, Kent) (Builder). Wellard sells to Rowden for £900 land and properties on Gad’s Hill, Gillingham.
Also includes A map of properties and lands pertained to. Cheap blue paper, unevenly cut. Depicts map of location of properties and basic details around them with measurements. Lots/properties seem to be highlighted in pink, but upon turning the page one sees that the lots are painted, one with red, and the other with blue. The road to the properties is painted in brown, and a passageway alongside is painted in yellow. All paint detail is rough.
Notes“Back page” bears Solicitor’s address of Arthur Redfern. Also contains two memorandums written with a typewriter. Both memorandums concern the properties described in the main document and their details are thus:
• 9th December 1931: Memorandum: Between Frederick Stephen Rowden and Jane Mary Tong
• 8th April 1932: Memorandum: Between Charles Harold Ellis, Frederick Stephen Rowden and Jonathan James Walter
PhysicalDescription52x40cm, folded in half to form booklet of four sides, and bound down left hand side with green string to attach blue sheet of paper (25x30cm) in centre.
