Andrew Wates's father was Ronald Wates, one of the founding brothers of the Wates Foundation. Andrew Wates describes his experience with and understanding of the Wates Foundation. He mentions his involvement with the Foundation's strategy meetings in the 1980s and explores the timeline of philanthropic activities in the family.
