DescriptionJean Edwards (b. 19 February 1930, Croydon) interviewed by Monty Wates. She is the eldest of six children (Neil, [Ann?], Julia, Susan, Christopher, John). Jean Edwards describes her experience with and understanding of the Wates Foundation. She mentions the foundation's early grant awards towards medical research at King's College London, neonatal research, and Great Ormond Street Hospital. Jean Edwards was the youngest barrister in the UK, aged 21.
